to apply. Small towns and rural areas are encouraged to apply. We are
not limited to just the big cities. Just email us.
GRANT PROGRAM

RECENT PROJECTS
Romanian Children: In April 2006, the Chartrand Foundation sent a box full of much needed soccer balls and t-shirts to a rural grade school near the city of Botosani, Romania. Last Fall Nancy, along with doctors from the Medical Missions Foundation, traveled to Romania to deliver medical aid to children. During her visit, Nancy noticed the children had virtually no sports equipment or were playing with soccer balls made of bundled tape. Pictured with some of the donations are Nancy Besa and Joy Moore of the Chartrand Foundation.

City Union Mission: The Chartrand Foundation made some special donations to the Kansas City, Missouri Union Mission Teen program in December 2005. Chris Chartrand is seen here donating new footballs, soccer balls and basketballs for needy teens to enjoy at Christmas. Chris was joined by Joy Moore of the Chartrand Group who personally donated some much desired table tennis supplies. Evie Kowalewski and Travis Strong of the City Union Mission staff accepted the donations.

KSU TABLE TENNIS CLUB: The Chartrand Foundation made a grant in support of the Kansas State Table Tennis Team in 2005. The spirit these young athletes promote (and they are athletes in every sense of the word) is just tremendous. They travel across the United States promoting good will and cross cultural understanding.
